we stayed in a nearby village and noticed this creperie on the way there. it took a few days to find our way to this place to lunch, and it was not disappointed. the restaurant is modestly decorated, but is good with different. works of art around the walls. the menu is above all hearty and sweet crawl as they expect, but there is a very great variety and everyone was fresh and delicious we even returned another day to taste more menu! eating is excellent, but besides the attentive and welcoming service of the owner paved. if they like crepes and they are in the opposite, I recommend them to try this place, it is a real gem.
we stopped for lunch and were reminded of arthur eperon rat over eating in france. the vadalen certainly lived up to its nofrills excellent worth eating. I had the menus of the day and my wife had crepes. the food was well presented and my 4 curs meal came with wine and coffee and at 13 euro was a great value. I would certainly recommend this for lunch and was only disappointed that I had not had enough time to see an evening again. well done to the hardworking employees.
we have here four times during our stay in the opposite, all meals at midday. the set menu was well presented, well prepared and very tasty. two of our party also chose from the crepe menu. the waitress was very friendly and helpful, as our knowledge about the French language leaves much to be desired! the set menu was four cousins and contain wine or apple wine and price on 13 euro. we arrived at the opening time as the restaurant was filled very quickly.
Whilst there's only crepes on the menu, the choice is extensive. Family favourites are the Bubry and Paysanne and undoubtedly one or both chosen on every visit. Choice of sweet crepes whilst not as extensive includes my favourite, apple and salted caramel , a sweet...to die for. Service is always excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Cold draft cider served to accompany the meal. Always on our to visit list when over.
