Ordered a mint tea and baklava first and later my dinner (Kofta Wrap menu). The wrap was delicious. With mint tea you can choose different variants (with black tea or pure mint tea and sugar is added separately and is not directly in the tea). Special requests are catered for (cola without cooling or at room temperature) and the staff is very attentive and friendly (several times, But not too often, the demand whether everything is ok. I lose a bit of the Arabic flair (decoration and furnishings have an Arabic and modern touch, but no food is offered in the tajine, for example). Food selection is Turkish / Arabic. Dropped in to have a shisha with a few mates. Got told we couldn't sit out the front as per the laws relating if to the smoking. Got sent down to the alley down the road to smoke a shisha in the grimiest tent on couches that looked like they were pulled out of the local dump. It is the biggest hole of a joint I've ever seen in Australia.The restaurant looked pretty nice to be fair but if your dropping by for a shisha make sure you bring a sperm suit and a mask as there no telling what you could contract from the grubby lane way.
Mixed grill platter was great. Broster chicken tastes nice. Lamb shank was ok not a big deal. A staff member didn't know lamb shank was Chef's special. Another female waiter who looked like an experienced staff was very friendly and helpful.The next day we tried to order just Broster chicken for take away, we were told it would take 15-20 min. After about 10 min, I was rang to get told it wasn't available for that day.
Well this place has caught my eye a number of times as i have walked past. It looks interesting, colourful and different for Surfers Paradise. We only stopped for coffee and baklava but we did inspect the interior and the menu. Maybe not the cheapest place in town but as I wrote it is interesting and different. I would suggest well work a try for some fun. Maybe on a busy night to get the buzz.

It was mid-afternoon and we hadn't eaten. We rose early to catch a plane to Surfers, had a mid flight snack, and were starving. No-one else was in the restaurant and the person at the desk wasn't sure if the kitchen was ready to serve meals yet. But when we asked for falafel wraps and coffee, no problem, and within minutes the most yummy toasted wraps and coffee arrived. A great find.
Very good Arabic food, the place is quiet and spacious. They also have water pipes to smoke, the prices are cheap and they speak Spanish. Thank you very much to the girl from Barcelona who took good care of us, I think her name is Alejandra, it would be good if they sell alcoholic beverages.
The Kibbeh arrived frozen in the middle, but the chef apologized and gave us a complimentary samosa. Unfortunately, our main meal took 45 minutes to come out and was cold as if it had been sitting for 20 minutes.
The rice and pineapple dream drink were amazing. In general, the experience was very pleasant and you won't be let down by dining here.
