Best food I’ve ever eaten at an airport restaurant. I’ve seen a lot of airport restaurants and try to avoid them.I ordered the beef cheeks and they were amazing. Like a tender beef roast that has simmered all day. They came with 4 delicious mushroom ravioli and vegetables. One of the asparagus spears was woody which I was happy to overlook in an airport restaurant but would bring up in a 5 star restaurant review. The hazy IPA was really good. My wife and I had a long wait for our plane so we opted to settle in here. It was right across from the gate.We had to wait in a line, even though the restaurant was almost empty. I think it was a changeover from breakfast to lunch. We waited over 15 minutes. I'm sure they could have handled that differently.When finally seated, we didn't quite know what we wanted to order for drinks. The server came back over 10 minutes later. The beer I wanted was not in stock (Tite Cream).We shared a burger and fries. I 'm gluten intolerant, but not celiac. Finding gluten free or friendly options when traveling is a never ending struggle but I now have a go to place when flying through the YUL domestic terminal. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was great. Great place while we waited for connecting flight. Comfortable chairs. I had the shrimp tacos which had fresh ingredients and were very tasty. I also upgraded the fries to poutine. The poutine was very good. I am not a poutine expert but being from Alabama I know fries, gravy, and cheese. My wife had the mushroom ravioli and it was like a fine dining entree. Our waiter, Maxton, was very friendly and knowledgeable, he quoted us well on what to eat!
With few choices for decent food at YUL, this place stands out for its healthy options alongside traditional pub fare, albeit at a slightly higher price. The service is excellent, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Be ready for lively music and a vibrant atmosphere at all hours. I ordered the breakfast omelette and coffee, and I have no complaints!
We had a layover for a few hours and decided to eat at this restaurant with a couple we met in the Dominican Republic. The place was quite busy, but the staff managed to find a small area for all seven of us at two tables. Two of us were children and one was a baby. The food came out quickly, and the service was excellent. Great job to the team!
The place is weird, they ask you to wait but there's no indication to go to the bar if you see space. There should be. The calamari was good, not great, a bit on the soggy side. The service was off, everyone seemed busy but there was so much staff. Very dismissive. Either way it's a good place at the airport.
Great spot in the airport. Belle Mare is one of my favorite IPAs. Food is good. Got a smoked meat Sammy and definitely had better. The meat was shaved very thin which is new to me. Was ok. Fries were tasty. That said, go for the beer ;
The service was exceptional, and there were plenty of gluten-free options available, including gluten-free beer. It was truly a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this place!
