A typical traditional neighbourhood style pub. It's been at this location for so many years. It's an icon to be visited. Through the years it has expanded providing enough room for entertainment. It has a simplistic beer and food menu. Service could be quicker but it is polite and we received what we ordered. And It was good. Live music was being played but it wasn't too loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. In fact a good part of the ambience was the chatter you could just hear from other groups enjoying a night at Archibalds. It could do with a freshen up but in a way it's tired look is a part of that ambience.If you haven't been give it a try. You never know I might be there as well...
My BF and I decided to check out this neighbourhood pub after hearing about the Flying Governor's band playing on a Saturday night. Sadly, our experience was not as great as we had hoped. The beer we ordered tasted flat, and I was particularly disappointed with the IPA I got. The food was also not as great as we expected, even with reduced expectations for pub food.Our server Ariana was attentive and friendly, she was quick to bring drinks and had a great attitude.Overall, the ambiance and live music were decent, but the flat beer and not-so-tasty food were a letdown. We might consider giving this pub another chance, though, hoping for a better experience next time.
Can’t tell if the owner is worse at her job or her management. Came here multiple Saturday's and every time, we got our food before our drinks because the bartender looked asleep and high out of her mind and it wasn’t even that busy. For the quality of the work, the girls behind the bar need to get off their high horse and try to look awake. Unfortunately, every time they get decent staff, they’re gone after a few months. Other days, Management is always screaming at someone or in a bitter mood. What’s the point of having management when the owner always has to be there to make sure they can do their job.
Horribly managed place and makes sense they have new employees every other day. Bartenders have attitude problems, managers are a mess and have anger issues. Hillary is always screaming at someone and Meri’s in a completely different sub-human category of her own. The rest of them look like they’re fried out of their minds, makes sense when you have those two to deal with and a daily sausage fest

First time coming into this place, waited a bit to be greeted by the bartender but once she came, she was very pleasant and attentive. The bartender Meri recommended the special steak onion quesadillas which was AMAZING! Really appreciated the kindness we received sitting at the bar. Definitely recommend. Excited to come back and try more food.
we’re new to the area and were recommended archibalds by our landlord. me and my boyfriend will definitely be coming back! food and drinks were awesome and our server Mana was absolutely amazing, very personable and tentative!! she made our experience.
Half price wings on Wednesday is a must and go there for their $10 burger deals. Love the dark pub feel as if we're back in London but not as packed. The servers are friendly and absolutely amazing. Their Irish nachos is one of a kind....think
Solid neighbourhood pub. I like that they have the Sub-Zero tap for Molson Canadian. Ensures your beer is icy cold.I had the mango-habanero wings, they were good size, surprisingly hot.

Awesome place to hang out if you like friendly regulars. Never an issue and food is the best in Richmond Hill. One of the only places in RH where you can get Cod Fish good and fresh.
Everything is very good ?, I recommend to all my family and friends. And bath the way next Friday we going to celebrate my daughter's birthday there. ?
