However, what you get is half a duck sliced on the bone sitting in a pool of chili oil and soy sauce topped with chili peppers. The duck was tasty and tender and had been rendered down perfectly. Throughout the meal, it was clear that the staff were not attentive. Even after being seated, I had to wait a long time before anyone acknowledged my presence. When my order was finally taken, it was rushed, making me feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer.

They’ve added a new menu with helpful pictures, which is a nice touch. The second dish I tried was the Cold Water Shrimp ($12.95), which turned out to be the nostalgic Swedish shrimp—I never expected to find them here! The texture was a bit off since they were previously frozen, but they still tasted great. The dipping sauce was excellent too. I might have missed this dish if it weren’t for the pictures on the new menu. The waiter tried to explain their origin using his phone, which amusingly pointed to the North Pole, though I believe the North Sea is a more accurate source. Does anyone else serve these tasty shrimp?
The waitress had a persistent cough, which made me concerned about the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the dishes were subpar and not cooked properly. I don’t want to be harsh, but the food lacked flavor—it was honestly tasteless. My wife and I experienced stomach issues after our meal. Additionally, the waitress pressured us to leave a 20% tip before we departed, despite the fact that we didn't receive good service. I understand that this isn't a high-end restaurant, but that doesn’t justify the poor quality and service we encountered.

Aries Noodle And Dumpling has quickly become one of my top dining spots in Waltham! The food is authentic, flavorful, and affordable, showcasing the rich tastes of China’s ShanDong province. With a wide selection of outstanding dishes, I’ve been three times and still haven’t tried everything. One thing’s for sure—I’ve never been let down. Just be ready for busy weekends!
Aries Noodle And Dumpling offers an incredible dining experience with some of the best Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles I've ever tasted. The noodles are fresh and perfectly chewy, complemented by an addictive broth. The beef is tender, and the portion size is generous. I also highly recommend trying the beef tripe in chili oil from their menu—it’s a standout dish.
This place is outstanding and is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Massachusetts. The food is incredible and the staff there are so friendly. There is a really interesting menu that has everything you could want. The spicy hot pot with lamb is amazing and they have one of the best cucumber salads I’ve had
I drove for 25 minutes to get the ramen (Lanzhou Lamian) at your restaurant, only to discover that you’re not accepting customers from 12 to 2 PM today. Please find a better way to inform people, beyond the note on your front door. Unfortunately, I had to leave and find food elsewhere.

Edit: I called an hour after receiving the text to inquire about my order and was told that all deliveries had been picked up and were en route. If they had mentioned that the driver never showed up during my call, I would have gladly gone to pick it up myself.
