My partner and I enjoyed a delightful and authentic lunch for two at this Korean cafe. We both opted for Korean soups - the Korean sausage and seafood varieties. The soups were hearty and came with a generous serving of rice, coleslaw, and 3 types of kimchi to share. The rice and kimchi were a pleasant surprise, as they were not listed on the menu. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The total cost came to $36, which we considered a bargain. Is been a while didn’t went to eat Korean Foods. This restaurant at night time is quite crowds and it attract me have to get a try in one day. Today I went here and have my lunch, so surprising about the taste is really...delicious and I’m super like it. I have order the stew soup fish eggs with seafoods in anchovy soup, and u can request to add extra boiled egg on top of the soup. It comes with rice and free small dishes for main meal. Highly recommended if u love to try the stew and soups, couples or friends and family can be go together and order the big meals of hot pot and price reasonable.
had fried chicken, kim chi pfanncake, rice dish and prawn tempura. kim chi pancake is the only reason I give star. the chicken was not damp in the inner or crispy outside, not even near fried chicken let alone korean fried chicken. the court had not really. simply tastes like mixing the ingredients. the waitress had attitude and treated us as if we shouldn't be there. even my ex does not treat me so cold. people with these problems should not be allowed anywhere near a customer service role.

We've only been once and this was a month after returning from Seoul in South Korea. The hot pot stew thing with pork bones wasn't that fantastic but the fried chicken was really good! It was crispy, tasty and a generous portion too! Close to the real Korean fried chicken! We ordered the hot and crispy and sweet chilli (half and half for $1 extra!).We ordered the pork bone stew pot and wasn't very impressed though...
We were unsure of what to expect with the restaurant's rough exterior, but the food turned out to be delicious and authentic. The staff were very helpful in selecting dishes that were perfect for our family. I would definitely come back to eat here again.
they enjoy the japche (stir fried clear potato noodles, sweet and bark meat) served with a few Korean pickles for lunch. reasonable prices. no foot setting with basic dining tables and plastic cups. Korean pop music in the background.
This is so far my favorite Korean restaurant in Canberra. Kimchi pancake is So so. But the Backbone hot pot and fried chicken are all highly recommended. Good value for money as well. Worth the trip to Gungahlin!

Arirang is probably a relaxed local eatery that serves authentic Korean food- will highly recommend it to anyone who visit our neck of the wood.
I love going to this place, the food is just excellent! I usually take the yum yum chicken and i reckon it's one of the best!
