Spent $60 on wings and baked ziti. Prices are ridiculous. Baked ziti is OK. Wings were bad…$34 for 24. Wings were much smaller, barely a wing. And they were overcooked, shriveled, and hard. Asked for a refund and got a gift card. Food Quality is nowhere near what it used to be prior to the pandemic. Don’t waste your money like I did. Listen to all the Moon Township people don’t like Armstrong‘s anymore. The takeout girls are very friendly.
We are from out of town and place an Order via phone picked up in store. Clerk was super sweet. Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine, Caesar salad and dinner rolls were given great feedback by my family that they enjoyed! Did not take any photos, but the staff were very conscious of items not spilling.... They sealed very well.. only thing we were missing were eating utensils.
I enjoy Armstrong's food and portions, but after spending $70-80 anytime I order takeout, I gave them up. I should also note that I'm a vegetarian, and therefore don't order food with meat, which usually means I pay less. Not at Armstrong's. The ladies at the front desk are also usually less than friendly.
First of all, they should be embarrassed by the portion sizes... they’re outrageous! If I had known the servings were this large, I wouldn't have been so greedy. I'll keep that in mind for next time. We routinely order Armstrong 's awesome food with generous portions every time we come back to Pittsburgh to visit family. It is a must have meal on at least one of the days we are with the fam. We have NEVER been disappointed! We await the day for the dine-in experience to return!
The prices are high, just like everywhere else, for food that’s only average. Since it’s takeout only, dishes that should be served hot on a plate often arrive lukewarm in a container. I also advise against ordering any fried items, as they tend to sweat and become soggy.
The food was delicious and hearty Italian cuisine! The woman who assisted me at the checkout was warm and friendly. My takeout order was ready right on time when I arrived to pick it up, and everything was well-prepared.
The food is excellent, and I've never had a bad meal here. However, the restaurant is currently undergoing renovations. Despite that, they were accommodating and the salads are fantastic! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I can't comprehend why people are complaining about the prices. You really get an incredible amount of food for what you pay. I'm looking forward to the renovations being finished soon!
