4yrs ago someone suggested Art of Siam for birthday venue. It was excellent for the food, the prices and thr cosy decor. For the past year we have been having lunch regularly and my only niggle is why is it not closer to home? It must be the best restaurant for miles, especially if you enjoy mouthwatering Thai food served in a pleasant friendly atmosphere by lovely people who cannot help but please. A 2 course lunch for under a tenner is not to be missed and, having sampled the more than adequate choices, I cannot fault any. I have been using Marple Pizza, for many years, and have always loved their pizza, but recently the prices went up quite dramatically but I was still prepared to pay for a decent pizza, but what I received last night was horrendous, only a bare scraping of grated cheese on the pizzas, not enough to even cover the base, I would not normally complain but even my children asked what sort of pizza it was, because of barely any cheese, the chicken wings were greasy and stale and the prawns on my pizza were smelly, perhaps in the past I would not have complained but with the cost of things now, this is a one off treat for us Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Me and my partner fancied a takeway as a treat ... we went to shop to ordered a pizza and large donner meat tray total was £24!!! The “large” tray of donner meat wasn’t large! The meat was cut very very thinly! £9.50 for a “large” tray was completely ripped off! The box wasn’t even half full! More like a small! Pizza was okay hardly any toppings, usually get chunks of chicken on pizza but this place must blend their chicken so you can very little! Wasn’t worth £14.50. We didn’t realised till we got home live 15mins away didn’t fancy driving back. Highly disappointed ruined our treat night! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
Food quality and delivery timeframes are usually really good, but this is my last time ordering with Marple Pizza. My last 4 orders have been wrong, two orders have taken over 2.5 hours to arrive despite being told 45 mins and the cherry on top is the consistent price increase. Granted the cost of living means takeaways need to put their prices up (and quite rightly they should! . But 4 kebabs and two sides have gone from less than £35 to over £65 in the last two months. The shop doesn't look much. But after using Harlequin for the past 7 years, I thought I'd try this place for a change. Didn't regret it!!!! The pizza's are so good. The donner Chips Calzone is also amazing. Burgers spot on. Well impressed. Will definitely be using them permanently now
