Bruhhhh. Ok. I 've had two visits here with PLENTY of dishes to confidently say that this place just absolutely kills it. In all aspects. It 's a little boujee. In that approachable way though. I went in with a t shirt and shorts and felt just fine. It 's extremely nice and laid out. Decor is on point. Lots of reds, metal and hardwoods. My kind of style for sure. Even down to the choices on glassware. Phenomenal. Let 's just get to the food already! So soooo good. Presentation is on point, flavors are not in your face, but definitely there and contrasting just like they should! There 's definitely technique here. Even on the mango sauce that came with the chocolate churros. Sounds weird, but...
I've visited this restaurant several times, and it has consistently been excellent. It's one of my wife's favorite places, and she always orders the Ensalada La Peral ($12) and the salmon skewers ($13). This time, I decided to try something new and went with the Ensalada Mediterranean ($13), which was full of flavor. I also ordered the Ropa Vieja Flatbread ($13); it was good but a bit heavy on the sauce. One downside is that the beer menu still lacks a variety of craft beer options, which is a drawback for me. However, our server, Sergio, provided pleasant and engaging service.
For dinner, we shared the Lomo Con Papas and a burger. I can honestly say that my husband's burger was far superior to mine—who would have thought a burger could outshine Brazilian cut sirloin? The fries served with garlic aioli were simply divine. If you choose to get mashed potatoes, I'd recommend mixing in the aioli for an extra burst of flavor!
The best seafood paella I have ever tasted! The decor, both inside and outside, is stunning and distinctive. It's clear that a lot of effort went into creating this place, and it's such a disappointment that it has closed. The food and service were excellent. However, it can be a bit noisy for those looking to have a quiet conversation.
The food is outstanding, and the ambiance is excellent. I highly recommend it.
