Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I found Artichoke Cafe by a Google recommendation based off restaurants I goto and what was open. WOW. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and it felt like I was a regular, not a first time visitor from out of town. The food, beyond my expectations. The bread appetizer was amazing. Fresh, soft and the sea salt in the butter. Genius! I had the 6oz beef tenderloin and the winter squash. I don't know which one I liked more. Both were flavorful, and we'll beyond expectations. Overall, it was a great experience! The house-made bread was delicious, but I would have preferred it served warm. The beet salad was good, but it could use a little extra flavor, like balsamic vinegar or blue cheese; it was a bit too bland for my taste. However, the shrimp and grits, as well as the pasta, were excellent, and the beautifully prepared and baked mushrooms were probably the best I’ve ever had—seasoned to perfection! I would definitely come back for more!

We got there on time, table was ready. The host was helpful and friendly. Our server Amanda, was amazing, next time we come back we?d love to have her take care of us. The food was extraordinary. It was our anniversary and we loved it there so much. Our first time going and definitely not gonna be the last. Their menu is amazing.
The atmosphere and service were exceptional. They offer a delightful selection of wines, and the wild mushroom ragout was outstanding. I returned to ANNEX I, and the entire experience was fantastic once more. The service was flawless, and the food was amazing. I absolutely love this place!
