Arts et Delices - Tisch reservieren

Very nice place in a charming location to taste the food of the region. And wine of course (wine is very reasonable priced). Interesting proposal of a 'canard ' plate with different gourmandises. The staff is friendly, the desserts are delicious and there is the possibility to take away desserts or other local products from their shop. Very nice dehors and cozy room upstairs (though I did not Like the Kind of moquette).

Whilst the food was reasonably good (although nothing that could not have been done with a modicum of competence), the attitude of the senior staff (the woman who appeared to be in charge of operations) could only be described as rude and unhelpful. It was if if she did not want guests in the restaurant.

When this restaurant is open (only July and August) the food is always locally sourced and freshly cooked. It is always based on the cookery of the local area the Bearn and if they know it is your birthday an extra little suprise in the dessert or with coffee is more than likely .

although the service is slightly disappointing(I wonder if the expression SLOW FOOD derives from this place... , the meal was really good and affordable.I tried the achoa, a typical basque course, and I really appreciated it
