I always wonder about the star system. So many places are five star for they set out to be. How can a fantastic lorry drivers’ stop/lunch diner have the same number of stars as a three star Michelin restaurant? Not that I have ever been to one for what the foodies call a ‘dining experience’. Also you don’t go to one if you are after a relatively simple good value lunch. I ponder and would love to hear others’ views on this. I have been to this place twice now. Such a relief to know that these places still exist in contemporary Spain in a popular tourist spot.
