Asador De Pollos Nogara

I always wonder about the star system. So many places are five star for they set out to be. How can a fantastic lorry drivers’ stop/lunch diner have the same number of stars as a three star Michelin restaurant? Not that I have ever been to one for what the foodies call a ‘dining experience’. Also you don’t go to one if you are after a relatively simple good value lunch. I ponder and would love to hear others’ views on this. I have been to this place twice now. Such a relief to know that these places still exist in contemporary Spain in a popular tourist spot. El mejor pollo de rotisería y sobretodo constante. No somos fácil de contentar sin embargo habremos comido docenas de pollos de Nogales y fueron TODOS deliciosos. Gracias por la constancia es algo que no se encuentra más. No hay secreto. Un buen producto de base, una buena elaboración y un buen servicio. Es lo que necesita la gente. Bravo! PS: la salsa está espectacular!

On a Friday night there is nothing better than having a few beers with chicken and chips! This place is one of the best around, and the puntillitas (baby squid) are great too... they also do salads to alleviate the guilt. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner, eat in or take away!

As a regular, I can safely say that this is the best chicken (and sauce in the area. Always friendly, good variety of other options (pulpitas etc.. . And... the chips are brilliant too. All in all I would put these guys #1!!
