What impressed us the most was the excellent service, everyone had a positive attitude and seemed happy to be working there. Even the two nietos (grandkids) who helped around were polite and worked hard. The food was very good, although we found the lamb chops a bit rough, more like Australian lamb than Spanish lamb, but overall pretty good food at decent prices. The croquettes were very good and the salad was fresh and more than enough for three. Good wine selection at a fair prices. It gets very crowded on weekends so better to make a reservation, we didn't have one and had to wait until 4:00 o'clock to have lunch, but we used the time to visit the beautiful town and it was well worth it.
recommendable 100 . claudio treated us wonderful! we ordered the grill of spectacular roasted verduritas delicious artichokes and entrecot should be noted that the meat was a little more made of what was wanted, but also the meat had an exquisite drop all with a spectacular wine, damn revolution and what to say of desserts? home desserts, super rich cheese cake and delicious canutillos so nice.
We were made to feel very welcome. The menu was explained very clearly in English, which was very helpful as our Spanish is basic. The quality of the food and service were first class. The value of the menu del dias was outstanding. We will return definitely next time we are in Rioja.

The food was superb and the service was the best that we experienced in Northern Spain (during a 2 week vacation). The location, although a little bit 'out ', is totally worth driving to. Highly recommended and compliments to the owner and his team. 6 stars!

the spectacular Saturday menui. the first splendid dish, the delicious chops and the stunning dessert. as the only one sticks the chuletillas ration is jota, but everything else, including fantastic waiters. to repeat without doubt.
