My husband loves Sushi so every couple of months we try out a new place. Definitely understand the high ratings for this place. The atmosphere is very cozy and romantic for a date night but also casual enough to go to with family or a friend. The staff is nice, informative and attentive. Lastly, the sushi here is top notch. An absolute must for authentic japanese cuisine. My husband said it's one of the best he ever had. For reference he got a spicy California roll and their specialty popcorn lobster roll.
Everything was really good. Nothing was a standout great place, but everything from service to food was ver solid. This was my first time there and it was so consistently good across all aspects that it's likely to become a regular hangout. We were there at 8:00pm on a Sunday, they close at 9:00. All tables had just turned over and were still full. They also had a nonstop stream of carryout all the way up to closing time. And they still managed to pull off a fairly flawless execution.
I have been to a lot of different sushi places in Louisville, this is hands down my favorite spot. I love the atmosphere that's close and intimate, and that there's not an obnoxious party going every few minutes. This is where I go when I want quality sushi, that is just down right delicious! The staff are always kind and generous. The establishment is clean and inviting. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious sushi in the Louisville area.
The sushi here is pretty good however be warned that the “hibachi” steak and chicken is not you’re typical entree from a traditional hibachi grill. The friend rice is barely cooked or have any flavor and the chicken and steak are thin slices, not your fresh chunks of meat. Highly underrated and the cost is outrageous for “fast food Japanese takeout.”

This is actually the best sushi in Louisville in my opinion. I’ve recommended this place to so many people and it’s become their #1 sushi place too. Highly recommend! Freshest tasting sushi, flavorful katsu, and friendly people.
These folks know how to serve amazing food with excellent customer service. They are skilled in taking good care of their customers. The food is amazing. They serve incredible sushi that is fresh and flavorful.
