If you enjoy the balance of aromatics and seasonings offered in Chinese and Asian food then this place is NOT for you. This is what I ordered, Hot and sour soup, labelled on the receipt as, 20 sopa agriapicante. A rice dish labelled on the receipt as, 10 sin chow chau, and a chicken dish labelled on the receipt as, 00 pollo chili. The soup, I was served a dish of what looked like the dregs of a wash up bowl containing all and everything that had been washed off a dish. I spoke to the server as I wondered if there had been a mistake, she replied no. I explained that Hot and Sour soup is a thick and usually darker soup with white pepper for heat not chilli, it should contain tofu, Chinese mush...
So, I have tried this restaurant on numerous occasions as I live right around the corner. Every time it has disappointed. Last night we tried again as its so close to give it one final chance, NEVER again. The soup if you can call it that is literally like water with oil on top. The main dishes were tasteless and the sauce was almost transparent. I had chicken curry and I would challenge anyone to have guessed that by the flavor as it was impossible. One dish we ordered they forgot to put the sauce on?! Absolutely worst Chinese we have ever had.
