We have ordered chicken shish kebabs for delivery from Rayleigh Kebab many times during lockdown and have always been happy with the quality. However, on our last two orders, despite requesting no sauce, the chicken was very spicy (chilli heat). This made it difficult for us to eat, especially considering the high price of over £18. When we contacted Rayleigh Kebab about this issue, they explained that it was due to the marinade they had used, which they claimed should have been used up by now. Unfortunately, they did not offer a refund or any other form of compensation. Booked for Mother’s Day. Table booked for 1 and got there at quarter past and it seemed they’d already given our table away to someone else. We had a make shift table put together and was told we had to vacate an hour and a half later. All very well but the service isn’t that quick. I felt like I was watching my watch and yet had no control over it so not the best! Staff very polite and nice but not the most relaxing lunch I’ve had.
These guys really know what they're doing. The food is incredibly fresh and of great quality. Despite feeling like you've walked into a scene from "Taken," the staff are always friendly. I would give this place 5 stars without a doubt.
Very slow service, was there for two and a half hours! Food was a little cold when it came out and looked like it had been sat on the pass for a while. Too many covers for the kitchen to cope with as well as the floor staff

Miserably slow service yet again. 30 minutes to take our order. 2 hours for starters and mains. Decided not to stay for pudding and waited 15 minutes to pay. The restaurant was near full and there were 4 front of house!
This restaurant is the best takeout spot in town and I highly recommend it. Their homemade chili sauce is incredible and pairs perfectly with their kebabs. The food is very tasty and fresh. Thank you.
I consistently get my kebabs from this restaurant. The meat is tasty and the salad is not too oily or greasy, unlike some other places I've tried.
Always a pleasant date night option ! Will always return, can get busy and loud around peak times but mostly, it is a peaceful ambiance
