We enjoyed some amazing Dominican food, and our server was incredibly friendly, taking the time to explain the different dishes to those of us who were unfamiliar with them. I ordered the fried pork chops, served with white rice and beans, and they even found some ripe plantains for us to share! The food did take a little while to arrive, but it was all freshly prepared, making the wait definitely worthwhile. As for vegetarian options, the server and kitchen were very accommodating, allowing a member of our party to have their mofongo made without pork.
My first time trying Asty time and it won’t be the last!! The food was delicious and you can tell that is was very fresh and made with a lot of love. The owner was very nice and came out to talk to everyone in the dining room. He made us feel very welcome and at home. If you want to have some authentic Dominican cuisine and feel like you are back on the island then I suggest that you go and check this place out.
My wife took me here. I met Mr. Asty and he was just so wonderful. He made me feel like family. I love the rice and beans, ripe and green plantains fried. The spicy creole shrimp was on point. I'm from the islands and the atmosphere was warm and friends just like being home. Definitely going back.Thanks,Mark
Awesome food, especially the pernil and gandules sweet plantains weren't as sweet as I hoped tasted air fried versus fried in oil but still good. The restaurant has great food but very little options. It’s great to have family and friends work in the business but customers come first! Their customer service needs improvement. It’s not professional. If you have patience and not in hurry this is the place for you.Food: 5/5

We really enjoyed the food; it was incredibly tasty! The prices are reasonable, and the cook is very friendly—he might be the owner. He took the time to ask us if we were enjoying our meals. The restaurant and the restrooms are clean as well.
