I had the pleasure of having dinner with friends last night At the Table. We all choose to have the tasting menu with the wine pairings. While looking over the menu, it seemed interesting and well curated with some unusual wine pairings, so it seemed like the right way to go. It did not disappoint! Our amuse was Greek Salad. A perfect starter on a warm summer evening. It was followed by a Beef Carpaccio served with a Lemon Truffle Aioli, Parmesan and capers, which was paired with a French, un-oaked Chardonnay. It was a great pairing, and once again, a delightful dish on a warm summer evening. For the second course, a Langoustine Toast on Pullman Bread layered with uni, egg yolk confit, cavia...
At the Table in Wayne is a true gem on the Main Line. Not only is the food exceptional, but the atmosphere and service are so warm and inviting. Cocktails and wine, A+. Oysters were outstanding. We also loved and would recommend the mushroom toast, grilled flank steak and braised rabbit pasta. We felt so taken care of by Chef Alex and his team. Our waitress Cece was very thoughtful and attentive throughout our meal. Thank you for creating such an elevated and special dining experience, I cannot wait to return. If you are reading this and looking for a reason to go, just do it! You will not regret it.
The food was delicious and creative. I tried the lobster tasting menu and my husband got A la carte. The chef even spoke with us for a few min while we were trying to figure out what the spices were. Server was also friendly and attentive. The only issue is that for the lobster gnocchi course, there was a lobster bone and cartilage fragment that I bit into. The server apologized when I showed him, but I wish they would’ve offered a comp or something else. Overall, I will be coming back.
Best restaurant on the Main Line- by far. I've had probably 70-80 meals there over the last 8 years, and the food, service, and atmosphere are consistently excellent. The addition of great cocktails and a raw bar were welcome. It's hard going to other restaurants when I consider the opportunity cost (I could have gone to ATT instead! . Alex was absolutely spectacular. He was so accommodating and welcoming. We ordered the seafood tower and it was outstanding. Believe it or not the fries were the best I’ve had. Wine pairing were spot on and the cappuccino at the end tied the meal up with a bow. 5 stars !! Great job Alex, Chef, and company
Had an amazing experience with our staff last night! The food was perfect, beautifully presented and so well prepared. 10/10!!! Highly recommended! Vegetarian options: Two of our party are vegan and the chef made sure to prepare something special for them both! Wonderful service!
The June tasting menu was absolutely fabulous from start to finish, great atmosphere, great service, and a perfect combination of food! A great deal for the amount of well crafted food!
