absolutely deceitful. had the muddles starter and was blown away from the aromes in the sauce. after the Steak Special (two steaks and a bottle of wine for £34) everything was cooked to perfection. around it all from 2 for £10 cocktails, which were not only refreshing, but generously dimensioned. a solid 10/10, I recommend everyone, give this little hidden gem a shot and they will be amazed. simply one of the best restaurants in york, with very friendly staff.
we stumbled over this restaurant while we try to find something special somewhere to eat for my birthday meal. well, this place has not disappointed. from the moment on we were welcomed by the host very hospitable. eating was amazing! and it wasn't a fall from one in one out. I did not enjoy a relaxed meal and enjoyed amazing eating in so long time. if I visit york, I will definitely be back here. what a hidden gem
Staff were all lovely people very happy and accommodating . Pasta was delicious very tasty, chicken ceaser salad, i am told was excellent. Lovely atmosphere,music, blankets as we ate outside as well as a patio heater. As for the sticky toffee pudding...... just delicious. Good value for money, highly recommend and i would go back. Thank you
Hello yes the steaks my girlfriend and I had were delicious and also I had the Brie with the strawberry stuff which I had WITH my steak and it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted also the service was amazing and we both really fancied the waitress we had she was so lovely (she had glasses and made us laugh about wine) Love from Hat n Matt Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
last night 30/6/18 ate me and my partner here. for the personal was nothing to do. we feel welcome and meet our needs. that was so delicious we had the three courses we usually did not. it was almost closed, and they never rushed us. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and will certainly come back. Thank you.
What a hidden gem! Fabulous outside space, blankets heaters in colder weather, canopy cover or sunshine and the loveliest cocktails! Really pleasant staff and beautiful food. What’s not to love?! If I was a York local it would be a regular haunt.
what nice find .. went to lunch and just a few bits from the snack menu all delicious, but would highly recommend the falafel .. great atmosphere and service .. will go back in spite of that
