Ich liebe diesen Kuchenladen und steckt immer an, wenn ich in Marrickville bin! Nur ein paar kleine Must-Gebäck für einen Rest mit einem Buch im Park gekauft, war jeder auf seiner eigenen kunstvollen Art göttlich, ernst, ich nahm kleine Bisse, um sie und jede komplizierte Textur und Geschmack zu schätzen. Wir erkennen wirklich, dass ich den Unterschied zwischen "nur einer Masse produzierten Snack" und "Art" erkenne.
I love this cake shop and always pop in when I'm in Marrickville! Just bought a few little sample pastries today for a rest with a book in the park, each one was divine in its own artful way, seriously, I took small bites to appreciate them and each intricate texture and flavour. Truely made me realise the difference between "just a mass produced snack" and "art".
Zum ersten Mal in diesem Shop kaufen. Ich habe den roten Samtkuchen für eine Funktion gekauft. Erstaunliches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Große Größe und äußerst guter Wert. Es sah atemberaubend aus und war absolut lecker und das Ganze war innerhalb von 10 Minuten weg! Wird sicherlich wieder da sein.

Ich ging für die alte treue Baklava, Galaktoboureko und Kataiifi. Ziemlich gut, aber sehr süß und syrupy, mit nicht ganz genügend Aroma. Ich hatte einen besseren Vakuum an anderen Galaktoboureko. Ich werde wiederkommen, um andere Kuchen auszuprobieren.
I love popping into Athena Cakes whenever I am in Marrickville. I love grabbing a freshly made spanakopita (pictured) or baklava or a bougatsa (pictured). It’s pastries I would never make at home and they are always consistently good! #athenascaleshop
I went for the old faithful baklava, galaktoboureko and kataifi. Pretty good but very sweet and syrupy, with not quite enough flavour. I've had better custards in other galaktoboureko. I'll be back to try other cakes though.
