I used to live in the area years ago when this restaurant first opened and I loved it then, and I still love it now. The only thing I missed was the marinated calamari that I had ordered and only tried once at a fancy restaurant in Florida. Although I really enjoyed my meal, I noticed that only fried calamari was on the menu. I was on a lunch break with a friend, so I didn't inquire about it. I will definitely ask about it on my next visit. The staff was also very accommodating, considering how busy and short-staffed they were. They did their best to serve us quickly, understanding my friend's time constraints.
I am satisfied! I began my meal with the hummus, which was large and very creamy. It was a bit dry for my liking but was easily remedied with some olive oil. The moussaka, spinach pie, and pastitsio platter were wonderfully delicious. The plate also came with plenty of garlic bread and a generously sized Greek salad. To finish off my meal and evening, I had the baklava. While the dessert was good, it was a bit dry and not exceptional. Overall, this meal exceeded my expectations and was worth the visit.
I ordered the chicken parmesan and the cheese garlic bread. Chicken Parmesan had a slice of bland chicken with a slice of random cheese on it (see the picture) which came with some spaghetti. Both of these lacked any flavor and the cheese wasn’t even melted and the food almost seemed undercooked. The garlic bread was also a thick slice of cheese slapped on plain bread. The worst food ever! I paid around $15 for each dish and expected decent food for that. I was so disappointed.
Oh my goodness.. best pizza in town.. I called them up at 8:45, I asked if they were still taking orders.. and he said I was the last one.. I ordered the Athens Special, and.. maybe the Greek, I believe..? And the house salad. The ingredients were fresh, it was just the right balance of crispy, cheesy, and toppings. Some of my friends I went to Athens ? after a memorial service for a beloved friend who passed away in March!! My friend always wanted to go to Greece so when I got to the back room there is artwork of Greece on the wall that definitely made me smile think of her. I ordered the baked cheese ravioli it was really great!! ?? I enjoyed my time there.
I eat every time I get to atlanta to see my daughter. every meal I had was delicious. Yesterday we had her baby shower and it was wonderful. the staff was courteous, eating was delicious and we had a wonderful time. we see each other in the juli when I'm undermining the birth of my first grandchild.
The food here is good. The Greek pizza has a traditional, old-school taste. This was my second visit and I have no complaints. It's entertaining to watch the family dynamics at work, and it seems like many of the customers are regulars.

My friends ordered pizza and everyone was impressed by the freshness of their pizza ingredients and buttery crust.Since I was on a diet I ordered a salad with grilled chicken....toughest overcooked chicken ever!!
