Honestly, this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had—I didn’t even mind the price. I ordered the truffle tenderloin with a white and brown sauce that I’m desperate to recreate. The server mentioned the main ingredient was crème fraîche—I’m not quite sure what that is, but I definitely need to find it. The chef’s expertise really shined through in every bite. The dish included tiny mushrooms with long stems and small onions that tasted like chives. The restaurant is well-staffed, and the service was flawless. I emailed the restaurant immediately after dining here on September 25 but didn’t receive a response, so I’m posting my feedback as a review. My partner and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Atlas Steak Fish and were both drawn to the risotto. To be clear, I’ve spent 45-55 minutes making authentic risotto at home, which turned out far better than the soggy rice served with my halibut (overcooked) and lobster (also overcooked) that evening.
