Hortense, who used to run the creperie Chez Hortense at Berhet 15k away, has moved to the pretty flower-decked little town of Pontrieux and takes you back in time,.. Her tiny premises are entirely decorated in 19th century style - as is Hortense herself! - and you can choose from a huge selection of teas and coffees, cakes and pastries or tartines spread with home made jams and jellies. then sit inside or out, and watch the life of this beautiful and tranquil town pass by. beautiful umbrellas and parasols, period postcards etc. are on sale - this is a unique place, and there aren't many of those left.
In the heart of a magnificent village you will find this unusual place. Prepare to travel back in time. Here the owner will welcome you in period costume with warmth. You will be offered artisanal sweetness and hot drinks prepared in the old way. To enjoy these dishes you settle in a setting where all is from the period. The immersion is completed by the background music. You will be able to take a certain number of products which you will have to taste and which are sold in the back shop. To sum up a real temporal parenthesis of pleasure.
Very nice tea room decorated with teapots, postcards, antique umbrellas. Very well received by Hortense who offered us to accompany our tea with slices of brioche with raspberry jellies and big ones. We've had fun! It's an authentic place!

Charming place where it is good to stop there, among the decor of the we feel serene. After a good bowl of chocolate hazelnut and brioche served by a woman in period dress, we have trouble returning in .....
We loved it. The atmosphere of this place is completely atypical and very pleasant. The service was attentive. The sweets are delicious. I do not think it's open for a long time but highly recommend it!
