We had the last dinner of our French trip at Au bouchon basque; last but not least, this was actually the best meal of our entire vacation. The presentations were stunning and were matched by intense flavours and textures. The carpaccio was the best I ever ate and the rest was delicious too. At the end we had the fortune to spend time chatting with the chef; he is a young guy with bright eyes and a lot of enthusiasm. The restaurant is a couple minutes walk past the tourists area; I really liked its atmosphere and service was nice and friendly. the restaurant's decoration is as soon as we get home. sober, modern already we feel good. The welcome is warm. we took the formula of the day entry, dish and dessert for 23€. the products offered are simple but the way they are prepared is very original. mix of flavors sought and which works very well! we had booked in this establishment for ten people as part of a business meal. We decided to stay on the bistro and take tapas. the first were served around 9:00. Three quarters of an hour we wanted to recommend it to accompany beautiful bottles. a cozinha seems to want to be tão inovadora que no final end ends by presenting sem sense pratos.Foi quite difficult to appreciate um prato que pedi pois os diversas Components não so não combinevam entre si mas vinham em vários recepta (em temperature different) sem que me fosse fornecido um prato único onde eu couldsse degusta-los em conjunto. the cuisine revisits with the flavours. The melon was married to the ham in an unexpected and tasteful way.As for the fish, the cooking was perfect and the combination of surprising and delicious vegetable flavors. I was bluffed by the decor from the entrance! The frame is simply superb! concerning the map, I was pleasantly surprised by the proposals of the chef and the finesse of the dishes. the service was impeccable with very well-advised advice. an address to be recommended!
