we were really impressed, everything we ordered amazing! the waiter was so beautiful, probably the best service we had in paris. I was a little nervous with fork to make dinner reservations, but it worked perfectly, they had our reservation and we have a great table out. I would recommend this restaurant for friends and family, especially for the quality of eating, but also the ambiente is great on a quiet side street. really special!
The service was impeccable. The melted bitter in the escargot was sublime.....our best ovrall dining experience in paris. What type of mustard was accompanied with the beef Bourgogne. Also, the baguette and homemade butter was delish.....a cookbook in the works. I hope.....may go back for steakk a pouive . Overall, great dining experience a great price. Staff was warm and friendly stats!
Delicious food. Staff was very attentive and professional. Only hiccup was when the bill was asked the waiter put it down in front of my partner's place (a man) and when I (a woman) pulled it towards me, saying that I will be the one paying, the waiter took the bill away from me... I believe we've reached a time and age where women have the option to pay.
We threw a dart and hit a bullseye with our lunch today at Au Bourguignon du Marais. No recommendations or anything, just took a flyer. Luckiest shot we've made in awhile; food was fantastic, service was incredibly accommodating and pleasant. Not the cheapest ticket but the value for money is unquestionable. Go there. Waiter was excellent. Very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. We had the house specialty beef Bourguignon and we’re not disappointed ! We also had French onion soup and two wonderful desserts. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Paris.
the food was perfect, good flavors and presentation. I'd definitely come back. the treatment of one of the waiters was not the best, he had an unwelcome attitude, although the attention of the other two waiters was perfect.
