I ate here three times over the last week and each visit was no different to the other in that the staff were warm, friendly, helpful and appropriately attentive. The food served on each visit was like each other visit and consistently well presented and very tasty. The meals ate included Moules in Roquefort, Welsh rarebit, steak and all served with a salad and frites and delicious! Really good selection of beers and everything reasonably priced. Overall no complaints, only compliments Recommended
Wir sind auf Empfehlung unseres Hotels in dieses Restaurant gegangen (an einem Sonntagabend waren wir froh, überhaupt ein offenes Restaurant zu finden) und wurden nicht enttäuscht- gute, bürgerliche Küche, faire Preise und vor allem freundliche, schnelle Bedienung. Die Muscheln waren klasse, die Atmosphäre im Hinterhof sehr schön. Und als wir auf dem Rückweg von unserem Verdauungsspaziergang noch auf ein Bier einkehrten, wurden wir wie Stammgäste empfangen- so kann man auch punkten!
This restaurant come bar come cafe is open almost all day for breakfst until late for drinks However most come for Lunch / Dinner The steak frites is good & cheap with salad & bread & butter The creme brulee is also good but the menu is quite extensive as you would expect in France Tourists are always made welcome & the staff speak some English.A good place to stop either on the way back to the Eurotunnel / Ferry
A place we have visited many times before for lunch and have never been disappointed. This time we just had drinks on a very busy Friday afternoon and the service was just as good as if we had eaten there. Very friendly staff with a great attitude and we were made to feel welcome. You know you are in the right place when the local business people frequent the bar.

Un des rares restaurants ouverts le dimanche , très bien localisé au Centre-Ville . Bon choix de spéciaux et de mets régionaux . Nous avons mangé des moules (très bonnes) et un Welsh (meilleur à vie) . Vins un peu dispendieux . Service personnalisé et efficace . Très beau décor classique et bon rapport qualité/prix
Bustling brasserie with moderately-priced simple food: omelette and chips/Le Welsh (Welsh Rarebit)/seafood platters/pasta. Draught beer. Try a kir (blackcurrant liqueur and white wine) - an excellent apéritif.
The staff here were extremely friendly and the service was super fast! Our portions were huge too!! This is the first time that we have visited Calais, but we will definitely return!
A good place to eat a late lunch after Saturday shopping since most restaurants seem to close by 2.30pm. The wines were excellent and the food was better than a burger.

Had a great time drinking here on Monday night, then a fantastic breakfast on Tuesday morning. Lovely staff, great food and drinks. Daily specials look fantastic.
Went there for lunch and sat in the pleasant garden. The menu is very boring catering for people who don't like French food and very overpriced
