We visited on a very busy hot summer Saturday. The food was good (we had: burger salade gambas duck confit). Tasty and portions were about right. But the service started slowly and got slower/non-existent after we had eaten the main course. We gave up ordering a dessert as we had to wait so long for someone to take the order. The setting is lovely, overlooking the lake and the food is nice enough, but the service needs to improve. Plus if you arrive later (1pm) all the tables in full shade are already occupied.
The setting is beautiful and the new room allows you to enjoy well. On the other hand, for the reception it is not that, despite their good will the servers are not responsible and appear even stressed, each new arrival must be placed after agreement of the boss who is rather unpleasant, face closed and not a smile of the meal. Regarding the meal, we took the dish and the dessert of the day, the coffee was offered. The rate is reasonable but corresponds to the kitchen that is served, i.e. the Metro.
On holiday at the campsite of the lake following the closed snack for end of season we are going to the restaurant of the lake the feet in the water. We were not reserved but received with my 7-year-old son. A very good meat meal at the top and its beautiful view.
Nice place on the beach, overlooking the lake, outdoor dining possible. Friendly staff, good food, good beer. A nice place to relax. Crowded in July /August, as anywhere else in France
