the restaurant is located near the main tourist attraction of the city (valentrée bridge), so if you get a table on the terrace you can enjoy an amazing view. the staff is very friendly, which add a lot to the place. the dishes are good quality and very good value. the daily menu is on and the more costly menu is on and they have the opportunity to go or advise for the courses: not to confuse the dessert. the chef is a former baker cook. I had an amazing and organismic « baba au rhum »
Seconde visite au Fil des Douceurs. Notre première expérience était moyenne mais nous avons décidé de donner une seconde chance à ce restaurant si bien placé au pied du pont Valentré. Cette seconde visite est plus concluante, les plats étaient plus originaux et toute la tablée les a appréciés. Les quantités sont un peu justes pour avoir un rapport qualité/prix vraiment bon.
Very close to our hotel. We both ate from one of the set price menus (the are are 2 plus al a carte) which gave you 3 options for each course and more for the “puddings” Really very tasty and not formula cooking. Reasonable wine list at most price points and the service was excellent. We can defiantly recommend this restaurant.

All I can say is perfect, if there was only one meal out there, it would be good, I don't see anything wrong about food, service or the environment.
