We found this restaurant by asking some of the locals. What a real find and we were not disappointed. Just around the corner from the Capitole square, literally about 2 minutes walk. Fantastic wait staff and a lovely atmosphere with real brick walls, terracotta tiled...floor and small pine tables and chairs. The menu is one of the best in this region which is famous for it Foie gras and Canard. The portions are so big that you can easily share a dish between two people. I have been there a few times some time ago and remembered the restaurant as an excellent price-quality deal. I went again earlier this week with a British colleague that never had cassoulet in his life before. Again the place confirmed my memory. For 23...euro we had a very nice entrée and cassoulet as main course. I am not so fanatic for cassoulet but here I can appreciate it very much. Nice meat and not too fat or greasy. For me an excellent place to go if you want to eat local for a very reasonable price!
Pas très loin de la place du capitole, ce restaurant peut mériter le détour. Certes le patron n'est pas très souriant et stressé mais la cuisine est correcte. Le cassoulet généreux même s'il manque un peu de saveur. Le foie gras est correct également et avec le menu Auch vous avez apéro plat dessert ( avec cassoulet et foie gras) pour 23,50€ . Bon rapport qualité prix... je pense que pour de meilleurs produits il fait casser plus sa tirelire...
we visited this restaurant for lunch and what a sound! the food was delicious and the service excellent. we had the cheaper of the set menus that was really delicious and cost 17 € each. we had goat cheese salat, dee and dauphinois kartoffeln and one. desert sizes were good and they were probably the best dauphinois I ever had. I would have returned happy if I were in toulouse.

C'est l'intitulé du menu que nous avons choisi mon mari et moi... Et effectivement il faut en avoir un de bon coup de fourchette. Le foie gras (à volonté) en entrée était excellent et le cassoulet géant très bon aussi, nous sommes ressorti en roulant mais conquis :) L'accueil et le service étaient très agréable et efficace malgré le monde. Le prix est tout à fait raisonnable.
Еда вкусная и полностью удовлетворила наши запросы. Но вот сервис… девушки были приветливы, но они явно не успевали обслуживать клиентов. Приходилось долго ждать, особенно чтобы оплатить счет… мы ждали 30 минут, просили дважды. Когда поешь, хочешь уйти, а не сидеть и ждать. Всё впечатление испортил этот инцидент. Не вернусь только из-за этого.
délicieux! personnel charmant et aux petits soins!entrecôte très bonne, plats locaux excellents (cuisse de canard confite, aiguillettes de canard grillés...) a noter un menu foie gras et cassoulet a volonté que nous n'avons pas testé!très bien!
we stayed at a vrbo in toulouse and wanted to taste the famous cassoulet. our host recommend us to try au gascon so happy we did! lunch service 12:00, fantastic service, great ambiente and prices fair. highly recommended!

Un menu "entrée plat dessert" pour 9,90€. Un personnel agréable, rapide et efficace face à l'affluence. Je conseille et n'hésiterais pas à revenir.
