AU GATEAU BRETON - Tisch resevieren

We were looking for a light lunch after visiting the chateau. If was reasonably late for lunch and most other places seemed shut so we entered the Hotel Le Beouf Couronne - when we made it clear we were after something light they ushered us through to Au Gateau Breton - it all seems to be one rambling, connected business. It was extremely hot and we were seated under a flimsy umbrella in a courtyard. We waited interminably for someone to take our order, and our drinks order. The courtyard was stifling hot. We then waited so long that we considered getting up and leaving - if we thought anywhere else nearby was open we would have.

Les lieux de restauration du château sont onéreux et nécessitent un temps d'attente très long donc nous sommes sortis et avons trouvé ce restau à 10 minutes à pieds, il était plus de 14 et l'on a tout de même été servis et bien accueillis. Le plat du jour, veau marengo, était très bon. L'hamburger de ma fille ordinaire mais copieux, les frites très bonnes et une bonne portion de salade fraîche.Rapport qualité / prix / prestation tout à fait correct.Moins de 40€ pour deux avec apéro et café.

Nous avons déjeuné en terrasse et il faut bien l admettre le cadre est sympathique et très ombragé.Le service est rapide et les serveurs courtois.Toutefois, le pain est surgelé, le veau était plein de gras et les pâtes fraîches beaucoup trop cuites quant aux desserts rien n est fait maisonEn résumé plutôt décevant

Bon accueil. Nous sommes arrivés tard. Pris 2 salades (bretonne et oceane) les ingrédients devaient attendre depuis le matin dehors : fraîcheur limite et les fonds d'artichauts sortie d'une mauvaise boite. Je ne conseille pas. La cours intérieure n'a rien de sympa. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Perfect food, without lying best burger I have eaten in my life (honey goat cheese burger) and the perfect Virgin mojito as it should be!! Great service, very friendly and helpful staff, I highly recommend it!!

Restaurant bien tenu mais la cuisine est moyenne. Disons que ce n'est pas gastronomique, plutôt simple. Par exemple, la salade est posée dans une assiette sans décor.

We had lunch here after spending a morning at the Chateau Chenonceau. We had a variety of dishes, all very good, in a nice setting on their patio.
