On a beautiful Spring morning my twin brother Stephen and I were walking along Rue Des Abbesses when we decided to drop in Au Petit Montmartre and what a very pleasant time we had. A great looking cafe bar ,interior is so traditional ,a cool looking serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto Rue Des Abbesses ,in my opinion one of the prettiest streets in Paris. We sat outside ,we ordered an expresso coffee each ,these were served steaming hot,we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's which from the first sip till the last sup was very consistent indeed ,it was just so good being in such a gre...
Au Petit Montmartre is located just beside Métro Abbesses and The Wall of Love (Le mur des je t'aime) in the Jehan Rictus garden square in Montmartre, Paris. Very nice spot to have drink with friends. The drinks are okay. Beside a lovely location nothing special. Service is average. If you would like to go to this place bring cash with you because they don’t accept credit card!
This little gem of a restaurant is right next to Abbesses metro, in the heart of Montmartre, situated on a pretty little square. We hadn't planned to stop there for lunch but the food looked so nice we wanted to try it. We had a wonderful lunch at a remarkably low price in this very touristy area. Service was charming and efficient. Highly recommended.
Taking an hour away from writing a report, I found this place, and felt drawn to its character and atmosphere. I wasn't disappointed! A delicious Croque Monsieur (€10), coupled with a beer, it was delicious! Service was swift, and very polite. Ticked all the boxes. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We spent some time there hiding from the rain. The place seems sketchy, only accepting cash payment. But the view is good and the prices weren’t outrageous. We ordered crepes with cheese, the quality was average but the fillings were generous.
So the other reviews are ridiculous. No card payment so what? Prices like in Montmatre in Paris and not like in a small town in the middle of nowhere it's clear. A great place, an extremely friendly waitress, good food, good cafe.
The staff here were incredibly rude and arrogant, it made it such an unpleasant experience. Will never go back and most definitely wouldn’t recommend it. There are so many other places in the area, don’t waste your time here.
