new owners medium kitchen why medium and good when you take the only menu at 26 € the choice is very limiting and this remains of the classic for this price. The gizzard salad, the duck jam, the sarlada potatoes all lack of technique and taste, I know restaurants for a much lower price in our beautiful black perigord that send more worked dishes. The service is also average. It's a shame, but maybe it's the start. the craft of the kitchen is first of all creation and to make fun, but not to send dishes certainly copyy but to the detriment of taste and creativity ( menu at 26€ ) to finish the cabut served on a salad without nothing it is a little sad, a little honey or toast would be welcome....
to change we have booked outside the city of sarlat to avoid the crowd and the urban restaurants. We arrived before and took the aero - little choice. No ice to put in a pastis. We have been recommended to take "a slate" which includes all of a sudden, foie gras, confit, cheese - it is not a good idea at all, there is a very long wait (when there are not many people), and finally we are used all of a sudden, the entrance the dish and the dessert.Not to mention that the products are not particularly exceptional. So, Too bad I don't recommend it.

Careful presentation. very pleasantly surprised, we see ourselves serving a complete plate. with a toast surmounted by a very thick slice of a whole foie gras, accompanied by its fig jam. a piece of meat or fish to choose from. for my part 300 gr of a tender and delightful tin and my friend a whole magret. all accompanied by a sublime sauce with bits. I strongly recommend.

A little away from the crowds of the surrounding cities, this restaurant really deserves to be stopped: a varied menu, a rich and perfectly cooked meal and a friendly welcome. A small flat on the service that was enough. wandering but asking to be improved so that everything is perfect!
