Michel served up delicious food and a great deal of friendliness to boot. The menu is small but made to a really high quality that we just weren't expecting ticked in the mountains. We went to live here. Prices remarkably low for such quality.

The food was delicious and reasonably prices - what do you need to say. The menu has a good range without being over-stretched and our table sampled the steak, fish and the duck - all superb. Desserts were also very good.
Spent a week in Sondernach on a motorbike holiday and ate almost every night at Au soleil d'or, the food was exquisite... Michel was very accommodating and a really nice chap... Very highly recommended...

Friendly service, large and pleasant dinning room, cheap hotel but the really best is the food quality and variety ! Large quantities, perfectly dressed, and plenty of different tastes and flavours.
Simple menu, very well executed. Great fish dishes. Lovely helpful staff, chef checks regularly among the guests, also speaks a bit of German.
Very nice restaurant, stunning food. Unfortunately the service is not that good, otherwise it would be a 5 star rating!
