We have now tasted many restaurants in the region, from sublime to very authentic, passing by the very good tourist too expensive and not well cooked. The old mills surpass them all. nestled on the riverside is this lovely restaurant. very authentically French to the old in its decor - as we love it! the dining room is surrounded by beautiful furniture and carillonnant clock, perigord fireplace and exposed beams. There are also two outdoor terraces for dinner in the summer. It is a very popular restaurant, so even if the service is good and friendly, I would book for 7:30 to get a faster service. there is a delicious menu on the menu - my favorite being the hot crisp salad in the entrance or...
as we were in the adjoining hotel, we enjoyed our meal twice and enjoyed both the two paintings, especially the second time when it was warm enough to sit outside at the stream. the 2-course menu is a very good value and was perfect for us. I had the laughs both paint as it was delicious. the first time I had dessert the snowball that was good, but not really after my taste. the ice was excellent and a better choice. service was excellent, even the 2nd night when they were much more busy. the waiter remembered us and made food special. the half bottles of wine on the menu were both very good and was the amount of wine we prefer. it is a wonderful environment and a pleasant evening meal.
spot is very sweet of the small river, terrace looked cozy and guide michelin reference comforted us to choose this place to dinner. how disappointing was the service rushed and almost rude. eating was ok, but not delicious and I must say that the look of...the teller were not up to guide michelin standards. it looked very poor and cheap. the bad service about it made the whole experience unpleasant. we do not come back and will not recommend this place.
an excellent traditional restaurant with outdoor terrace overlooking a beautiful quiet park with stream. food and service were of first order for an unstarted establishment and our only regret was that the evening we had dinner, an American family treated him like a mcdonald's with noisy children who were constantly running and a husband leaving to smoke between classes. It's not the fault of the restaurant, just our bad luck.

Unfortunately I was not able to go to this hotel which nevertheless looked magnificent... but I would like to underline here the integrity of the staff, who did not hesitate to cancel my reservation on Booking, with compulsory payment, because I was too far in my itinerary to be able to go there to sleep. Beautiful and lovingly designed hotel with a stream on the property. Breakfast is served in an annex building, which also looks clean and rustic. There is enough parking space, the staff is friendly and helpful. Price-performance ok.
The site is magnificent, an old mill along a small stream. The room was OK although a bit small for the price. Access to the hotel is not very easy and you have to go out to have breakfast, which can be unpleasant in rainy weather.
