we arrived half starving after the hike and were very happy that we got a place outside when we had a dreamy weather. everything looked very good but eating was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, it has something from a mass operation. canard al orange and the steak rather at the level of a tourist trap, the orange sauce too sweet and too sticky, the crumb butter salted to steak and certainly not self-made. profiteroles and cream caramel okay but that's much better in Alsace than there. Maybe it was because we were there so early and everyone looked like they had to recover from the afternoon business. no wonder at the hordes that visit the local, the location is top and the against has man...
A small jewel in a mountain setting...Very nice address, a tasteful discovery.Recent and warm welcome, warm atmosphere in the room, service to small care, and especially delicious meals... Perfect cooking, so much meat (a kitty that I can only recommend). only grilled gambas, very generous dishes. and you feel (gustically speaking) that the kitchen is made home. Of course it's a long way from strasbourg, but I'll be back soon with a greedy and undisguised pleasure. Everything is done so that we feel good and enjoy eating... So, from aperitif to addition...Bravo...
we were here late at midday and had the choice from the vasper card.Salat (green leaf salads, carrot and celery salt) with soothed chicken liver, wobble and speck - the salat very beautifully dressed, a wonderful dressing on basic vinegar, oil, sniff, milk and the leber above with plentiful baguette as to give. it was beautiful and animated to return to the official midday card. the service was very friendly and attentive.
really good cooking, and especially very well served! Very nice staff. service a little long but good for a weekend of May 1st there was world. I recommend spaetzel with meat if you have a choice with your dish because the fries are not home, it is my only regret.If not frankly I advise, it is a very nice setting :)

passing through this beautiful corner of the northern Vosges, we never fail to go to this restaurant. The reception and services are very friendly, effective and always with a smile. The varied map and the served dishes are simply exquisite. An establishment really to recommend.
a restaurant in a beautiful and quiet setting. friendly and friendly. meals without chichi but very good. Ideal after a hike because the place is surrounded by sites to see and wengelsbach is a village .isole but pleasant and quiet.
