Five of us (all women) met for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We all had the plat du jour which was an entrecôte with sauce choron and frites. It was superbe. Perfectly cooked - some asked for saignant, some à point. And very tender which is not always the case with entrecôtes in Swiss restaurants. Presentation was lovely and so was the service. We had asked for a special birthday dessert and a lovely chocolate cake with candles was perfect. It was then served with ice cream. All in all a perfect lunch. And thank you to Mme Lang and her staff who decorated our table with balloons as well.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and without exception I have always had a perfect meal. I have introduced the restaurant to my friends and they also always look forward to a return visit. When I visit a restaurant, the most important ingredient for me is flavour, next comes the quality of the food and then the presentation. At the Auberge Communale you win on all three points, but you can add to that a very pleasant eating environment and excellent table service. Go on give it a try and enjoy yourself.
Der Besitzer und seine Mitarbeiter sind sehr professionell, die Qualität der Gerichte ist würdig in den besten Küchen. Das Rumpsteak und seine köstliche Pfeffersauce, das Fleisch war sehr zart. Wird auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an den Koch und das gesamte Team. J-F Monod
we got a dinner at the Auberge Communal, the service was simply outstanding with the duo owner and waiter making everything to make our meal remarkable.We order fish of the day (delicious) and filet (cooking at perfection.) definitely a place to go when you are around lausanne and Lavaux. Went there as family of 2ad 2chd, very warm welcome, fast and efficient service.The dishes were tasteful, it was a very nice experience. I would recommend this restaurant !Here below a picture if my main course: saddle of deer with delicious spätzle, fruits and cabbage :)
Der Empfang, der Service und die angebotenen Speisen sind eine explosive Mischung. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und empfehle es gerne meinen Freunden.
Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert köstlich. Ein freundlicher Empfang. Kurz gesagt, keinerlei Mängel.
