Read other reviews and basically agree. OK food. Had my first poutine / plain.Gravy on french fries and some type of cheese-like balls. Filling and tasty but I do not understand the gushing descriptions elsewhere. My wife had dinner of fish and chips. Total with no tip of $20.13.Not cheap as I see it. Easy parking for me this early Wednesday (4:30) worth our stopping after visiting the church across the street.Honestly, I think a family with kids would prefer one of the nearby fast food brands.
Good wholesome food served cafeteria style. The menu changes daily and always has two or three main entrees. You pay for what you have on your tray and seating is at several tables within the large room. This restaurant is at the entrance to the Auberge where you can stay for a reasonable cost while visiting the Basilica across the street. The place is usually booked solid with busloads of pilgrims coming the Shrine during the summer.
This little place is a cafeteria style restaurant with no frills in decor, but it is right across the street from the basilica. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We had a nice lunch there of sandwiches and soups that wee simple, but tasty. The building is, I think used also for rooms for people who go on retreats at the church. A nice little place for a quick lunch.
After visiting St. Anne de Beaupre Basilica we wanted a bite to eat. We decided to go across the street at Auberge de la Basilique. It was a cafeteria, with no line. Small place but with plenty of inside and outside seating. Cafeteria style. Menu board posted at entrance where line begins. Pick what you want, pay and then find a seat. Sometimes the line can be long but moves quickly. Not many other choices near St. Anne's.
Plain un-modern interior with several large tables. Caters for coaches and the many visitors to the Cathedra. Plain self service, food good and prices very reasonable. Plenty parking at the rear. Happy staff, happy hour is early lunch.
this restaurant is across the street from the basilica but it is closed for the summer 2017 which is most unfortunate as there are few other options in the vicinity if you dont want to go Mcdonalds or similar
Certainly not fine dining, but this small cafeteria line has interesting hot foods, cold sandwiches and cooks some things eg. Putting, to order. Spartan eating hall but very reasonable prices. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Clean buffet with nice selection. Sitting outside for lunch just to watch and relax. Staff are very helpful and cooked salmon to order.
