We are local and know this restaurant well. Only open during the tourist season. An early indicator? The waitress was surly and could hardly crack a smile. No terrine de campagne or jambon cru for the Assiette Campagnarde and no alternative available. How do you run out of terrine or ham neither of which is fresh produce? One of our party ordered the vacherin for dessert, but didn 't want the crème Chantilly. Not possible; it comes with cream. When it arrived the cream was a squirt of synthetic on the side of the plate. The chef obviously seeks the simplest life imaginable and has given orders that NO variation is possible. simple but well-crafted kitchen (steak/frites, pizzas, tartare), good value for money, you go especially for the setting (it's so beautiful the terrace with all these trees, the old building) and the very nice and warm team. Restaurant not to be missed for a dinner with friends, family or two, we would like to have time to stop, we would stay there all night to discuss on the terrace to drink the good wines of the map (wines of towncroze). We just feel good. Don't pass by this beautiful place!
We had reserved for dinner on the terrace with my wife, evening in love :-)all was perfect! from the welcome by a very smiling young man, to the dessert, to a really pleasant setting (shaded terrace, sufficient space between the tables for bully, candles, ...), a tasteful and fresh kitchen and a very relaxed atmosphere....Break, a good address to remember but think about to book!
we took the classic menu at 22 euros with entry, dish and dessert. The prices are reasonable and the copied plates. Pestou soup is excellent and apple pie is not to be missed! the small asset is the outdoor courtyard that adds a small charm to this restaurant. Small defects: waiting between dishes (a lot of world) and wine a little warm.

Ate there with the family on holiday. sent there from our hotel, we were very satisfied. Nice atmosphere, waitress very gentle and good food. Very good price for quality offered, 3 course dinner for 23 euros, good food and portions quite big. Would definitely go there again.
We liked the atmosphere, the fast and efficient service, the pistou soup (regional vegetable soup), the pizza provençal, the table wine, the tatars (both ... salmon and beef) ... We would have come again.
a table without pretension, a very pleasant setting, which justifies the visit and summer attendance just damaging that the staff starts to lunch before even all the customers were served ... youth error?
Good choices, good food and good service. Very popular and always busy. I think the food is better elsewhere, but we still visit. Good for larger groups due to the very adaptable seating/tables.
