The auberge occupies a fantastic site at the head of the valley with great views from the open terrace or the glazed veranda depending on the season. You will be welcomed by the friendly proprietor who usually manages front of house single handedly. The food is reasonably priced, rustic and generously portioned, you will not leave hungry! At the end of service the chef proprietor will come to shake your hand and ask whether you enjoyed the food. It's a popular spot and worth booking as its a bit remote and alternatives are not close at hand. Looking forward to another visit soon.
That's it. Sunday, the bistro room in the valley of light was well filled. Despite this influx, we were served within a reasonable time by the staff in accordance with the current health instructions. the local meal, with a choice of resistance dishes, a choice of cheeses and multiple desserts made our happiness. the euro price being reasonable for the quality of the products served. We'll be back.
We were very pleased with this find. We had not reserved and although the restaurant was busy the staff were very friendly and we had a warm welcome. The food was good and all three of us enjoyed our meal. The chef was approachable and a pleasure to meet. It was nice to be thanked for our custom. The view from the terrace was relaxing, we stayed for three hours. We will defiantly return.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our sister's birthday. The starters were excellent as was the wine. Some disappointment with the main courses as the plates were cold. Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were impressed with the service.
