Auberge Neuwiller used to be a valuable nice little place with friendly service and good kitchen We used to come regularly. The recent two visits were very disappointing First we thought can happen. Our visit this week with friends was a culinary disaster to the extent that we felt embarrassed for our guests Either the cook has changed or they dont care anymore in the kitchen or had too many people or all the three components. Its a pity and we will mot visit Auberge Neuwiller anymore in the near future. They can do it but likely need to go back to the roots and focus on gastronomy.
Went on a Sunday night and was pleased to see that it was open and welcoming without a reservation. Sat outside on the large covered terrace (which kept us dry when it later started raining).Service was friendly and good. Good was fantastic - fois gras to start and a traditional chicken and mushroom vol-au-von for main with ile flotante to finish.Great food, good location and good value ( when compared with over the border) - sure we will be back.
Today was a very warm evening. So we decided to go and have a flammekueche at the auberge. The auberge has a very beautiful terasse to sit outside and enjoy a glass of the famous french Edelzwicker. Food and service are good and friendly and since it is very close to the swissboarder and oberwil where I love, we go there often and can recommend this not only in summer, but also in winter.
down here to dinner and a few drinks one of the most beautiful places. the menu is typical Alsatian, they think tarte flambé and charcoutre they also have amazing steaks, in which did the best I had in the region. spend friendly service with a fantastic latte beer garden/outside area.
The meal was very good and the staff friendly and professional. Everything is homemade, special requests are taken into account, the place is clean and warm. I highly recommend and look forward to the next time I eat there.
