No one was here to greet us on arrival. A passer by phoned the owner and gained access. Room keys were laid out and we found our own rooms, such as they were. There was no lift and the stairs steep and narrow. My small sparsely furnished room looked out over the roof. A tiny fibre glass shower cubicle sat in a corner of the room, barely big enough to shower in, no room to swing a mouse, let alone a cat. The bed linen was clean. We were supposedly staying on half board, but we were sent into town to another place to eat! Amazing! The continental breakfast was just adequate.
An excellent place to stop off for a night if you are travelling up from the south for ferries, not far from the autoroute but feels like an extension of holiday. Really good if you are travelling with a dog as it's right beside a river with a long quiet walk up the river bank, the owners are really helpful and very accomodating, the food is lovely and the price is really good. I think the town would be good to vist too but didn't have time. Highly recommended
What to say: a wonderful evening in love (for the years of my spouse) in this restaurant: everything from one to z was perfect. the service (thank you to the server) impec', the meal that of the gustative happiness we will come back and hope to enjoy the terrace on the beautiful day it is true that tonight it was a frisquet aunt: but the advantage c that we had the dressing for ourselves
Just leaving this hotel where we stopped for lunch on a trip back from the south on the way to St. Malo. Sevice was polite and efficient and the food was delicious. Lots of families and a birthday party. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves and nobody was having to wait too long for food. Presentation of food was also beautiful. Roast foie gras - best dish I ever ate. The rest quite ordinary. Very nice garden seating, near large low quiet river. The owner/chef was very friendly.
l'endroit est un peu froid, la nourriture correct et le prix d'un restaurant gastro, il n'y a pas de chaleur humaine mais la terrasse est bien
