Close to Cappy and the lakes and canals, this unassuming bistro is a wonderful find.Great for lunch (only open in evenings on Friday and Saturday), it has 3 prix fixe menus. Especially good entrees are the Canard and the Calves' Liver - it just melted in the mouth. Desserts are generous and definitely homecooked - iles flottante especially delicious. A friendly and quirky venue for a relaxed family birthday while boating on the nearby Canal - look out for the wooden clogs decorating the walls!

I picked this outwardly unprepossessing auberge for lunch one sunny day while pausing in the pretty little Somme-side village of Suzanne. Friendly welcome, good food (I had the calves' liver as recommended in an earlier review); not ultra-cheap, but reasonable value.

Excellent reception. homemade dishes. Thanks, the owners left and the trade was not resumed. So the Suzanne hostel closed. It's too bad. Beyond the fact that it was very good, this small village lost a place of economic activity, a social connection between people.

We came across this delightful little local auberge whilst just exploring around the area having spent some time visiting war graves and ww1 battlefields.Lunch was superb and really good value for money. A range of fish
