We always have a wonderful time at this restaurant. A recent change of ownership and refurbishment means that the indoor dining area is lighter, more modern, whilst retaining a traditional feel.The food, already quite good, has also improved! Our sea food platter was delicious, as were the other dishes. Unfortunately no vegetables or salads included with the servings, some of which were also quite small - I had to ask for an extra helping of rice to go with my delicious duo of fish in a lemony sauce.Meat and lobster were grilled directly on an open fire in the restaurant.Bring warm clothes if you plan on sitting outdoors - it can get very windy and chilly, even in summer.
Gorgeous location with good food and friendly service. We visited with three children. The waitress was very patient with our poor language skills and the food was very good - lovely oysters!Colouring books and pencils provided for the children, which was very kind and good children's menu. It was a surprisingly peaceful lunch - quite a few other patrons but the tables aren't rammed together as they would have been in England so there was room to breathe.
We were at Auberge des Grottes in June. The restaurant offers an amazing view, but it's also a well know very good table in Cotentin. And I must admit we were not desapointed at all. The service was perfect and our fish amazing. One advice make sure to book early enough...
The fantastic view compensates the average food. You go to this end of the world to enjoy the landscape and you will be breathless with the 200• scenery. The service is nice but the food has highs and lows.... Dommage Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very Bad Service, It took like 20 minutes until the food get served. The food is good , but more bad than okay. The view out of the restaurant is great, but inside it is very bad air. I don’t recommend it.
On top of one of the highest cliffs of Europe, but no vertigo on the "nez de Jobourg". An elegant restaurant with very good and fresh fish and seafood. There is also an outsider terrasse viewing the sea

Had a lovely two course lunch here today. The emphasis seems to be on healthy eating. Very fresh food, cooked with a light touch. Very well seasoned and beautifully presented.
