We are three retired friends spending every year a 2 nights stay in Alsace .On 26th July 2018 we stayed in this beautiful domain. All our rooms were Air contitioned, comfortably furnished and had spacious bathrooms. 3 categories of rooms: standard100 Euros,Elegance 120E and Luxe 160 E).Rooms towards the back of the building are very quiet,one of us had a less peaceful sleep due to a noisy street in front of the building. Beautiful garden with swimming pool in the back.Very friendly reception.Excellent cuisine with efficient service and rather low prices.Good and extensive wine list. This hotel is quaint, almost medieval with its timber doors and walls, dark corridors and painted timber ceilings whilst being a modern hotel. The rooms are simply furnished, spacious and well appointed. The Restaurant is something else! The service and food are delightful. The chef is a gem, his food is not only tasty, varied and of good portion it is also beautifully presented. When the restaurant fills with locals it is testimony to a good chef and good service. located outside of slestat, on the road of markolsheim, a nice table. a warm interior, woodwork with walls, a map of the dishes and suggestive wines. a the consumption you are not disappointed, well cooked, the tab, in particular, superb, white asparagus of alsace with three sauces and three hams, also. a fast, efficient and smiling service. only shadow, a pretty loud neighboring table, but what do you do? Another concern is that the hotel is located in a corner, on the edge of a national with intense traffic, the exit of the parking lot to access this road with Russian roulette.To finish, an addition conforming to the quality of the dishes served.

nestled in the heart of the forest of the illwald this restaurant is widely worth the detour . pass the door and you enter the kingdom of the beautiful and the good: mix of beautiful stones, wood, pretty frescoes, tamized light . the kitchen is at the height of the decor. there is something to satisfy all the palaces, be it original recipes or seasonal dishes. the service is smiling, impeccable, the pretty couple that holds the establishment is in small care, the chef goes from table to table, makes you share his knowledge and love of the kitchen. Go and see your eyes closed.
we were a Sunday evening with family in a place that we didn't know we had reserved on the terrace and despite the fresh wind we were well installed dishes are excellent and very good nevertheless the service was a bit disorganized and there were some worries to have what we ordered the overall impression remains positive thanks to the good plates
Friday evening gastronomic, very good address. kitchen of suggestions of the moment a feast. perfect service and exceptional desserts. We'll be back there without hesitation.
