We come here every autumn (and will return again this May and again in October) as the quality of food is superb. All the dishes are typical of the region, with local produce and 'country ' in style (so be warned you will go away feeling well fed). As it is a 'local ' auberge be sure to get there for noon at lunchtime as it quickly fills with farm workers and other locals. There are a number of set menus at various prices, all great value. The Morbiflette, Truite in sauce jaune are fantastic, as are the salads to start. And beware the giant dish of Dauphinoise potatoes that comes on the side, it is excellent, you will have to finish it all. The restaurant is not easy to find, being set back...
