we lived in flanders to visit the ww1 battlefields connected with a long lost large oncle of us, who never returned to Australia after the battle of religious on 20th juni 1916. we were with English friends who had heard of this restaurant. it is excellent and we can recommend it completely. the restaurants jean francoise is a huge man and generous and exalted host. eating is high quality and local and seasonal. to keep the costs down, the menu is limited, but excellent in quality. the wine list is small, but vintage. we had a wee from the year 1999, which was a surprise! the interior and exterior of the house is fascinating and beautiful presented with old farm and cooking appliances. the o...
we discovered this hostel thanks to a "box" offered by friends . although we chose to come on a Sunday at hours, we were very welcome. The place is nice, the smiling boss without being obsessive. The idea of the menu of the day is pleasant and the hearty meal. a single regret, the wine with glass is only possible for wines of poor quality.
