Corsica is all about the coast...except that some of the best experiences are not! Approximately 15 minutes from our Ajaccio accommodation, in a lush little cleft aside a small river, we were really fortunate to discover Auberge du Prunelli that is both a restaurant and...wine cave. Its history starts in the late 19th century (as did some of the gardens and trees that still provide fruits, vegetables and nuts to the restaurant) , and today the tradition of hospitality that began then is carried forward by the family. Valentin Orlandazzi is part of that family, and guided us through our delicious meal and then through the renovated, cozy wine cellar, where special tastings and events are held...
one of the best dinners we had in Corsica. we started with a wine tasting, where we were led by a very competent and friendly restaurant owner (cesar.) we have tried various weine from corsica and had a look into the opposite, the production and some interesting layers. then we have dinner. the restaurant is very cozy, charming and comfortable with a beautiful view over the river and nature. the people who came to the restaurant were nice local, friendly, smiling. that was amazing. perfectly cooked, natural local ingredients, balanced, made to home. Nous avons mangé dans cette auberge le 11 août au soir, après l'avoir trouve sur tripadvisor. On cherchait un restaurant ou manger une cuisine corse de qualité. Nous n'avons pas été déçu! Accueil très sympathique, choix de plats corses variés et même le menu enfant sort du traditionnel steak hache frite pour proposer du veauAttente correcte des plats et très bonne qualité (cabri, saute de veau, lasagne à la napeta, cannelloni au brocciu), les desserts sont également très bons (onctueux à la châtaigne, salade de fruit)A conseiller fortement si vous cherchez une bonne qualité à prix raisonnable, à quelques minutes seulement de porticcio et de ses restaurants usines.
Nous avons choisi de dîner à l'auberge du prunelli après être passé devant au hasard de nos balades et nous n'avons absolument pas été déçus.On y découvre les spécialités corses typiques (omelette au brocciu, cochon de lait...) le tout pour une addition plus que correcte en comparaison avec ce qui se fait aux alentours.Je vous conseille le menu à 34 € composé de 4 plats et qui au final n'est pas trop copieux et permet de goûter à beaucoup de plats typiques.Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir le soir ou nous y étions un groupe chantant des chansons corses: un régal.Donc ne pas hésiter à s'y arrêter mais réservation obligatoire !

Super resto, plats Corses très bien cuisinés et originaux;très copieux, bonne charcuterie, soirée super entre amis et les serveurs sont aux petits soins et de très bons conseilsDigestifs offerts.Nous sommes des locaux, mes parents y étaient venus il y a 8 ans et ça n'a pas changé !Nous reviendrons hors saison puisque c'est ouvert à l'annéResto à conseiller
incredible location, we sat on the outside, surrounded by nature with a small river next to the terrace. we celebrated a jubilee and they were super helpful for a little surprise for our friends. the food was also top-notch....We would have tried another night again, but we ran out of time. must eat here if they are near ajaccio!
we were recommended to this restaurant by locals we met at another dinner. the food was fabulous and the prices were quite reasonable. the staff was very friendly. try it when they are in the opposite! the environment is just beautiful.
Restaurant incontournable! Plats excellents et service irréprochable. Endroit obligé lors de nos fréquents séjours à Ajaccio. Hâte d'y retourner...
