When we read the various comments, we were looking forward to testing this establishment. We were disappointed. The flambée pie that was shared during the aperitif/entrance was good, well supplied, even if the dough was too thick. Not the best ones we ate, a contrario of the local boss's words. The duck magret unfortunately found drowned in a too creamy and overabundant sauce. This did not bring anything to the dish and did not succeed in highlighting the product. Lieu authentique où l'on prend le temps de partager des plats typiques, savoureux, 100% maison, concoctés par le patron en cuisine. La patronne et leur fils sont au service. Nous avons mangé en terrasse (couverte en partie). Mention spéciale à la glace maison. A l'issue du repas, nous avons pu acheter le vin de la maison (la vigne est désormais gérée par le fils).
Despite our last minute reservation, we were warmly welcomed by Josiane! An authentic Alsatian cuisine made home. An excellent family meal in a friendly atmosphere. We, the newcomers, were integrated immediately. An excellent meal accompanied by organic wines; we highly recommend the Auberge du Ried!
Cuisine simple, du terroir… Fantastique ! Que dire de notre hôte Josiane. La semaine dans le vignoble et le weekend à l’auberge. Un personnage qu’il faut rencontrer. Une toute petite auberge à l’ambiance familiale chez le viticulteur. Génial ! Vaut véritablement le détour !

very pleasant hostel, warm welcome, excellent cuisine, everything is homemade, the best flambées pies of the region, quals liver, evaporated, gratin of cheese, wonderful delights etc.
Reception, simple and family cuisine. Good advice on the wines offered with the dishes. I highly recommend!!
