We had a pretty good dinner. They bring the catch of the day to the table so you can choose the fish with the most sympathetic expression. One goat 's cheese starter was plenty for two. The accompaniment with the main course was unimaginative chips or rice. Dessert was ok but not up to the high local standards. It 's a good spot, right on the beach. There are various bits of electric roof, which are quite fun and useful when the sun goes down. However, even when everything is shut the area is presumably still officially outdoors so people feel free to smoke. There seems to be only one waiter who speaks English. He was very helpful to begin with, but when a large party of Americans arrived we...
A friendly welcome was followed by quick service. Huge portions for both starter and mains left no room for dessert! Quel dommage! Word of warning ...my partner ordered his steak to be medium but felt it was on the rare side for him. This is typically French in my opinion and told him at the time of ordering it would be better 'bien cuit. ' My lamb was perfectly cooked. The wild boar terrine and charcuterie platter to start were both very good. Prices are reasonable and the house red was very good.
We visited this restaurant for lunch on the last day of our vacation and were extremely impressed. Good choice, very friendly service, flexible with the kids needs and good food for everyone. Coffee on the house and the free use of the sunloungers for the afternoon were little bonuses. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed burgers for lunch here with great views of the sea. The burgers themselves were OK mine was slightly overcooked but the chips were nice and the waiters were really friendly (they kept the kitchen open slightly past usual lunch closing and helped usher away a hornet that came to our table).
