We were lucky to get the last table at lunchtime. All the others were taken, mostly by French speakers, probably locals. Madame greeted us as we entered and immediately showed us to our table. The next couple to arrive without a reservation were turned away. It was only 12:30! The food was just what we wanted. The menu du jour looked very good with different prices depending on the number of courses. The prices were very reasonable and included a pichet of wine. This was to be our main meal of the day so we chose a menu at €19.50. We had fish dishes for our starter and main courses. The food was fresh and attractively presented. I had a traditional Breton apple pudding to follow and my wife...
Used to visit regularly when we owned a house in the area and always loved it,but hadn't been for some years,decided to try again as we were back in the area.Not disappointed,excellent good value food,beautifully cooked and presented.Service by the lady who owns it,assisted by a pleasant young lad,was nothing short of charming.A very personable and efficient lady,who smiled constantly,spoke clearly and slowly(for us English)and was very happy to assist with use of a little English where she judged it necessary.We returned the following evening,to be thanked profusely for honouring them with a return visit- this is the way to run a restaurant - it was busy(buzzing) both evenings and deservedl...
We attended the Auberge du Tregor, based on the Trip Advisor rating.We were happy with the meal overall, but one or two elements disappointed slightlyVery polite, formal service, which impressed my 11-year old no end !Wonderful food but I will give one simple piece of advice: You will find all you want on the 19 euro menu. I chose items from the 29 euro menu and it was clear that the rest of my family (partner & 2 children) actually faired better than me. My food was bordering on slightly pretentious or fussy, where the other dishes were universally approved of. Are they trying a little too hard ? Not sure - I would not hesitate to return - but next time eat from the 19 euro menu !
We booked a table on the strength of the menus on display outside and the fact that it was busy at lunchtime. The welcome was genuine but none of the four of us had what you would call a memorable meal. The portions were on the small side, the sauces and seasoning required improvement. Our choice from the wine list was also disappointing. We all felt that this nice little restaurant required some inspiration and a shake-up in order to justify its current reputation. What a great little restaurant tucked away in a side street. Worth finding, Certainly the best lunch menu, with a choice of three options on each course, we found on holiday in Brittany, Turkey in cheese sauce, brilliant,super cod for my wife, all three courses under e13! Add well priced carafe of wine, and charming and good service. You really could not ask for more. Well used by the locals, and all home cooked.
We have been to this lovely restaurant for years, the food and wines are excellent, good mix of traditional and "normal" dishes, but the owners do cater for each individual needs. The service is polite and in good time and the owner is very helpful and caring for all her customers.
Very reasonable set menu and friendly service. I had the salted cod which is a local dish and was very good. My husband had a steak and the waitress waited for him to taste it and make sure it was right for him before she left!

Our hosts accommodated 8 of us at short notice. We were pleased they did as the food and service was excellent. Variety and quality - what more can you ask for!
